Challenge: Trevor wanted to sell his house and wanted to know what would be the best way to boost his house price.
Situation: Trevor had heard that having a solar system could increase the value of your home, but he never thought anything of it as he was selling his home. He thought he would give it a try by contacting RME for a free quote.
Solution: RME has many business partners, including some real estate offices. RME had an in depth discussion with Trevor to understand his needs (not just his buying need, but his actual requirement). RME offered to generate an online valuation report and present the differences of the property price with and without having a solar energy system installed. Trevor decided to mention to a few prospective buyers that he was looking at installing a solar system.
Result: Trevor had higher offers than that of the buyers who were from the real estate who didn’t know that Trevor had intentions of installing a solar power system. Trevor had made up his mind and installed a 1.5kw system. A month after the install Trevor sold his house to a lovely family who really enjoyed the fact that their electricity bills would be covered.
